GIA headed for Alegre Resort in Cebu for an offsite team building activity last Wednesday. We were fortunate to be greeted with great sunny weather. Even if the Alegre Resort was 2 hours away from the Mactan Airport, we were very much entertained by JayLord who acted as our official tour guide throughout the duration of the ride. We even had Eric entertain us with a game of charades. We had light topics that were relevant. We had fun games that kept us all bonded. We had several eat all you can moments. Good thing I was able to control myself with the shrimps! :) The resort had facilities that kept us entertained from tennis, swimming, fuse ball, table tennis, board games ... etc etc ... JayR gave me a crash course on tennis. Lyzet got me convinced to join the fun and swim with them. I had good times playing fuse ball and table tennis. GIA had loads of activities prepared for us. The puzzle challenge, math problem, stuff those marshmallows, relays, etc etc. We had dinner by the beach as well with a band that kept us entertained. Of course, GIA was ready with their interpretations of the Sinulog Festival. The best part for me was the competitive spirit across teams all the way, bonding sessions with the company of friends, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying the beauty of nature. My G11 is alive again! Hope you enjoy the photos I took. :) This was my first snapshot of Alegre. Several coconut trees surrounding a crystal blue swimming pool. Have you ever dreamt of flying? The Edge Coaster at the Crown Regency Hotel in Cebu fulfilled that dream of mine! Some people told us it was more exciting to try it at night so Frida and I went for the night shift. We witnessed the view of the entire Cebu City at night filled with bright lights. There was this lever which allowed us to take control how tilted the ride ought to be. We definitely went for the maximum tilt. I wanted to maximize the experience of course. Found myself and Da screaming as we circled the entire building. The ride felt like one suicidal act. =) It was one super ride!
