On ISO
The most ideal state when shooting photographs is to shoot with a low ISO value. (100, 200) Low ISO results in photographs that are less noisy or grainy. The caveat however is when shooting with low ISO value, best if you can hold onto your camera as still as possible. Given that low ISO means longer exposure time, the impact is that the slightest movement while taking the photograph can affect the quality of your image thereby causing a blurred effect. To stay safe or during instances when you’re unsure, go for a safe ISO value of (400). High ISO value on the other hand means shorter exposure time. This means less chances of your image to end up blurred. However, the captured image as you zoom in may have a noisy or grainy outcome. When is this advisable? Go for higher ISO values when you know you are unable to keep your camera stable. (e.g. mounting camera on a tripod or holding the camera as still as possible). On RAW Some people choose to shoot in RAW mode. This basically allows the photographer to still be in full control of the captured photo even after the fact. Images in RAW format can be further edited to meet your intended exposure, saturation, brightness, or contrast without affecting the overall photograph.
